Hotfile is gone?

Today, I was surprised in another way.
Although you may know, Hotfile is famous for the storage service has been deleted from this world.
The URL still remains but seems to have forced closed on suspicion of violating copyright.
Why, this time did Hotfile is being pursued, among a number of storage services? It is reminiscent of the former Megaupload ...
It would be a shock for people who had been deposited there important documents and photos.
....Rest in peace.
